About Cristina F
Cristina was born in the Bronx, NY and raised in Westchester County, NY. She is a self-taught musician, with some classical vocal training. Cristina started writing music in 2014, and in 2015 she released her first ep titled The EP. Since then she has released two more ep's titled Greatest Mistake and Pop Songs About Real Things & Feelings - Part I, two singles "The Flowers" and "No Feeling," has released a boppy cover of Darlene Love's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" and just last year released her first original Christmas song, "I Won't Be Alone on Christmas Day." In November 2022 Cristina released "A Christmas Kiss" which moved into commercial radio rotation and was named the Top Holiday Song of the Year by Songwriter Universe.
Cristina performed the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden in 2016 and has played her original music in venues like Sofar Philly, Pianos NYC, The Bitter End, Yonkers Riverfest, Rockwood Music Hall, Sofar D.C. Irvington Town Hall Theater and the StubHub Flagship in Times Square. Her original hit "Be Happy" was awarded Song of the Year by Songwriter Universe. In December 2020, Broadway star Christine Dwyer performed Cristina's original Christmas song "I Won't Be Alone on Christmas Day" as part of a virtual Holiday cabaret. Popular Christmas Blog Merry and Bright later named "I Won't Be Alone on Christmas Day" the best Christmas song of 2021. Cristina was part of an exclusive ASCAP songwriting workshop and has attended an audition only songwriting retreat with multi-platinum songwriter, speaker, author, & creative consultant Andrea Stolpe.
In 2024 Cristina started her own children's music program called Little Harmoninas. She also co-owns a children's birthday party & entertainment company called Fairytale Moments & Friends, as well the Live Music & Entertainment duo Modern Love.
Cristina loves playing live and has performed at Wineries, Restaurants, Country Clubs, Beauty Pageants, Private Events, Cocktail Hours, Wedding Ceremonies and more! She has a very large repertoire of music that appeals to people of all ages. She plays both acoustic guitar & piano and sings everything from Madonna to Motown, Country, and Top 40 hits from the 50's to today. She likes to play the songs everyone knows, and the ones people almost forgot about!
